Temasek Holdings, the Singapore sovereign wealth fund, has confirmed its Singapore investment in Merrill Lynch according to Reuters.
The commitment includes a $2.5 billion re-set payment to Temasek in addition to the $3.4 billion that was originally offered as a Temasek Singapore investment in 2007.
